ALPS / Recent results from LHCb on Lepton Flavour Universality tests in $b\to c\ell\nu$ transitions

In a long-standing scenario of deviations from the Standard Model predictions, the study of tree-level semileptonic $b\to c\ell\nu$ transitions represents an ideal test bench to scrutinise Lepton Flavour Universality. This contribution highlights the most recent result in this domain from the LHCb collaboration, presenting the first joint measurement of both $R(D^*)$ and $R(D^0)$ reconstructed with a muonic decay of the tau lepton.
