Hadron Spectroscopy: The Next Big Steps / Multiquark states: twenty years later

We are approaching the 20th anniversary from the observation of the chi_c1(3872), the first among a large number of multiquark candidate states discovered so far by many experiments in a variety of processes and final states. I will discuss the problems arising when trying to determine the properties of those states combining results from different experiments, highlighting cases where different assumptions in fitting the data may lead to significant differences in the reported parameters or even rise doubts on whether the results must be attributed to different states (eg. psi(4230)/psi(4260) and others)
