QCD / Recent heavy ion results from LHCb

With full particle ID and precision tracking at forward rapidity, the LHCb detector probes a unique phase space in nuclear collisions at the LHC. This talk will present recent measurements from the LHCb heavy ion program, including precision measurements of charged particle production, the first measurements of the chi_c charmonia states in pPb collisions at the LHC, and new measurements of J/psi production in (ultra)peripheral PbPb collisions. Comparisons with models and the unique constraints this data places on nuclear parton distribution functions will be discussed.
